Bustling, glittery, uninvolving.. Showing an explosive temper and a wounded psyche, DiCaprio eerily channels the great Richard Widmark, a film noir giant, as Teddy, a shaky World War II veteran still at war with his memories.. One of those movies with a terrific premise and a less-than-terrific follow-through.. This would-be "Ocean's Eleven" of the magic world remains watchable throughout, even as it plods along without ever quite fulfilling its potential.. This is one of those mystery thrillers...
